About Black Mamba

Black Mamba are a final year Video and Film research group in Dundalk Institute of Technology, Ireland. the team consists of director Jamie Martin, producer Niall Cairns, DP Blaine Rennicks and editor Conor Matthews. Our research topic is: 'An Examination of How Camera Techniques Involving Movement Make Action Sequences Engaging for Audiences'.
This blog will show our progression in pursuing research results through test shoots, focus group feedback and interviews with cinematographers. We will upload test videos periodically and we always invite comment and feedback on what works for viewers and what does not.
